Alliance seniors honored for scholarships and career changes | SehndeWeb

Alliance High School awarded 51 seniors with nearly $1 million in local scholarships at Monday’s annual scholarship and work engagement night.

Scholarships and awards from organizations were represented at the ceremony, including the Alliance High School Foundation which distributes more than $100,000 each year. Six new scholarships were available for the AHS Class of 2022.

Six students received full scholarships to continue their education after high school. The Investment Alliance Scholarship provides the top 15 AHS students with full scholarships to Mount Union University for four years. This year, five students accepted the scholarship – Celine Monastra, Nathaniel Woerther, Thomas Butt, Shannon Bowman and Cecilia Zucchero.

AllianceWorks is offering graduating graduates who have completed a career technology program a full two-year scholarship to Stark State. The scholarship was awarded to Alexandra Corke.
