LEWES, Del., May 2, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — educate online, a US-founded start-up that provides high-quality distance education to all children around the world, has expanded into the Indian market. The main objective is to provide online learning opportunities to the local community and share the local edTech market, which is estimated at $2.8 billion and should reach $10.4 billion by 2025.
To achieve this, the edTech startup adapted the educational program to the Indian market and hired a team of local experts, led by Amit Saneja, CEO of Educate Online India, based in the delhi Office.
The startup’s competitive advantage in the Indian market is that it offers a full course of the student from international secondary education to career building, when most other companies only offer one option. This journey consists of three key elements:
- High school education: Students aged 13-19 graduate from high school through Pearson Edexcel & Cambridge International (UK) or obtain a US or Canadian high school diploma. Students have the option of choosing between dual degree programs (study in both local and international schools) and full time degrees (replacing local schools with American, British or Canadian schools). As a result, alumni receive internationally recognized degrees from accredited schools. It is definitely a green light to enter the best universities in the world and increases the chances of obtaining a visa to emigrate;
- University Admission: provide full support from academic research and application documents to receipt of offers and visa applications. Educate Online has more than 100 partner universities around the world, such as John Hopkins, American University, Queen’s University Belfast, and others. The company also has extensive experience in building strong application profiles for top universities around the world, such as the University of Toronto, Parsons School of DesignUC Berkley.
- Career plan: development of soft skills and other personal qualities necessary for future professional success.
In addition to the set of programs mentioned above, in Educate Online, students can choose a separate subject to learn from 200 options (languages, STEM, business fundamentals, marketing, finance, economics, entrepreneurship, etc.). This is a great opportunity to study the subject in more detail, earn a certificate, and bolster your portfolio before entering college.
There are also primary schools for children from 4 years old – to middle school. If children and their parents can’t decide on a product, managers help them with free consultations.
“We are sure that the Indian market has huge edTech potential. Indian schools have educated 250 million students, so we have a huge and prospective market to work on! That’s why Educate Online wants to use all its experience of other markets and its knowledge of the Indian market research to empower Indians to obtain world-class education and educate 1000 local students by the end of this year, and in 2023, increase that figure tenfold.” Shares Alexander Zheltov, CEO and co-founder of Educate Online.
The educational process combines live and recorded online classes. Students are also offered virtual labs via augmented reality, so that they can take full advantage of all the features of science courses, such as biology, chemistry, and physics. Educate Online is working to provide a virtual reality platform in the metaverse so that students can have an even more immersive experience when studying online.
In some programs, students learn in small groups of 8 to 30 people, allowing the tutor to give each of them quality time. Throughout the process, our support team always takes care of student results and provides academic reports to the student and parent.
Additionally, Educate Online has social clubs.
“By joining Educate Online’s coding course, I learned innovative things about coding and decoding a program. Whenever I had a problem, I got instant answers from teachers. The program m ‘helped improve the portfolio I’m collecting for college admission. It’s a great platform to learn online.” Said Paritosh Saxena13 year old Educate Online student from India
